That is a tough question to sit with and one I have asked myself. I think it is one of the underlying reasons I fight so hard for the life I want and still don’t fully have. It may work out as I hope or not, but I am still going to try.
I love this for you Meggen. Thanks for sharing that. We deserve the life we want. Far too many never question, waiting for the Universe to act or simply accepting what happened to us as something that must diminish us. Keep asking, keep wanting.
I think once you realize no one is coming to save you, the work becomes clear. Nothing is free even freedom, which is my ultimate desire. I wish I didn’t have to work so hard for it, but I can cry about it or try:) I tried crying early on .. didn’t do anything .. so trying is all that is left. 😅
Agreed. Eventually we do have to decide what we're going to do with it. That's the part nobody can do for us. Which is unfortunate, because I'd happily outsource it on certain days/seasons, if I could.

We don’t always have control of what happened to us, but we do have control of what we do with it after.
